Default NEW to the forum and need some Hypertech Help!!!

Just picked up a hyper tech programmer that is for a 94/95 camaro or firebird lt1 and my car is a 97 formula vert...........will this work on my car or is there anyway to re program the handheld to work on my car? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

the hypertech is ****, well documented to SLOW CARS DOWN. So basically it is the wrong part because the PCM chamged for 96 and you don't want the "right" one either because it is still junk.

Do some research and ask what to buy before buying garbage, and reading magazines does not count as research.

Second that, never heard a single good thing about Hypertech on our cars, except morons that think it made their car better.

I'd try to hopefully find someone that would be willing to buy that POS.

Sorry, you bought a programmer that is incompatible with your car. However, it saved you from making a mistake by actually using it. It can be useful for compensating for gear ratio changes and a couple of other minor things, but not so much for performance.

Like everyone is saying hypertech's are JUNK, spend your money elsewhere like freescan or tunercat, obd1 cars have free tuning software online you just have to purchase the data cable
