New engine with bearing dust in oil. Is this normal?

New engine with bearing dust in oil. Is this normal? Just did the first oil change on my car I was running 10/40 to break it in with a acdelco filter. Cam and heads were already broke in I just replaced pistons and had the crank ground .010 under and I'm using h series bearings.with new srp pistons.. Should I see gold dust in the oil?? I was getting 10 psi and idle and 60 when I give it gas.. Has mellint hv pump and Moroso pan and pickup

If you only had 10 psi at idle, ESPECIALLY with one of those frigging high volume oil pumps, you have something seriously wrong in the oiling system. Most likely bearing clearances. If I saw that I would have taken it back apart ASAP to find what I did wrong. I wouldn't have been driving it that way. You need to get apart before you have any more damage.

Im in agreement here, if you have a HV pump and only getting 10 psi at idle something is seriously wrong and needs to be gone through.
You should not be seeing any visible metal flake even with a new engine if the clearances are correct.
The HV pumps also tear apart the LT1 oil pump drive gears, i'd say its time to pull the motor
