Default Sun Visors

Anyone know where I can get a pair? I tried the parts section but no luck. Tried google with no luck. Any other options? I need a pair of black because mine are falling apart.

Local junk yard might have some, even out of a v6 car. Should still be the same

I had mine reupholstered but I have a different problem, the passenger one fell down. I need to find whatever retains it up there. I guess I probably will have to go to a scrap yard for that.

If its just for aesthetics and you don't use them...delete them. You could reuse the mount and fill the hole.

Mine are horribly sun damaged and brittle. I should just remove them because they are honestly useless on a 4th gen.

The best is when you tell them, "don't slam the door." Then they slam it and say, "what did you say?"

Thanks guys for the lookout. I mainly want to keep my car as accessible as a stocker as far as the interior. Unfortunately women come & go and take joy rides and invariably use the sun visors to check their face, hair, ect. lol It gets on your nervs when they touch your middle rear view mirror or roll down the window to check their **** in the side mirrors.

I guess I should get mine custom made without the cardboard and something not so flimsy.

Haha good. Women need to stop worrying about their looks so much. Natural beauties are better. Plus the more she screws with my sun visors the sooner ill have to replace them Kinda off topic. lol

I posted within the last year or two, a company that repaired mine. I sent them to this company and they rebuilt them for around $70 and did an outstanding job. The material matched too. Do a search on my name and you will find it.

Default Find an auto upostery shop.

I asked my local chevy dealer who they used for upholstery and found a great shop. They recovered mine for 70 bucks and put in thicker cardboard too. But the mirrors went into the trash.
This was at the same time i got my headliner replaced. After comparing my current cars (and trucks) ive come to realize the headliner is really only good for 10 years - 15 years max before they really start to fall apart. But the car really looks much newer with the new headliner and visors.

Take a close look at your headliner too,

check out redlinegoods. Theyre a sponsor here and depending on the damage to your current ones, the redline covers might work for you.

Prices must have jumped up quite a bit, in the last 3-4 years. I bought a new set of visors when I installed a new headliner 3-4 years ago, and IIRC, the visors were around $75...
