Default Lt1 advice

I bought a trans-am with a lt1. It has a stock bottom end with a xe 230/230 cam. The heads were a set of stock heads that someone tried to self port. I took them off due to overheating and took them to a machine shop and they basically told me they are junk. The spring and valves are wore out from the big cam as well. I am looking for a good set of heads complete that will work well with my application. I have read for a week on ai, le, afr, etc heads. To be honest I don't know how to choose which head as far as size. I have an extra set of stock heads also. Would I be better off to send them off or by complete heads and what do you guys recommend?

My car also has 30 lb injectors, cold air intake, long tubes, 350 turbo with 3600 stall, transbrake, moser 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. I do drive it occasion but mainly play with the car. It does still have ac and is full bodied. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. And if anyone has a nice set of heads that will work good for it I may be interested.

Thanks in advance!

Just put some fresh springs on the spare stockers and install them and run it.
