Default Looking for a set of LT4 Composite VC's

Guys,

I know this is not the right place as I have this posted in the FS sections as well, but I'm hoping to get some more traffic here. Quickly, I'm looking for a set of the LT1/LT4 Vette Composite VC's with the bolts. PM me if you have some for sale and thanks.

Normal 'vette composite covers are the same except for the ribs on the inside, aren't they? Probably easier to find a set of them and Dremel the ribs off (if you need to). They look the same from the outside.

Agreed - both will work. But finding either in the composite is proving very difficult. I have couple that I have lined up across the US but trying to convince them to ship as they are Clist ads for local.

I'm pretty sure they no longer make the LT4 valve covers. I had a set just a few days ago that I could no longer use as my shaft mount rockers were too big. But a good buddy who is doing my engine work really wanted them, so I gave them to him for a good price.

If you find a set someone is selling, I wouldn't dare low ball him, but give him his asking price immediately. These are fantastic valve covers, and I am sad I can't use them anymore.

I have a set on my 383 Id poss. get rid of. I'd like to swap to the canton fabricated ones.

yes thats right. USED ones go for anywhere from $250 - 400 a set.

Wow looks like on that link SS RR posted has just the pass. side valve cover for $200. I'm on the hunt for a pair too, been looking for a long time lol. Definitely my favorite valve cover for the lt1..

Just as nice as stock composite ones for a FRACTION of the cost.

Im kinda 2nd guessing my choice in them. Esp. the P.side cover right by my turbo and town pipe. Thats the only reason Im thinking of getting the canton
fabed aluminum ones.

The cantons are big and based on the pic above, they might come very close to the down pipe at the back.

ok guys have fun.. Found these on ebay. looks like they are gonna go for $$$ also. I stopped my bid at $175 trying to see what the guy has as his max bid. Im gonna predict they go for around $300ish

They are just moroso wire looms for centerbolt sbc's.
