700r4 rebuild Do anyone know of a good rebuild kit for a 1993 700r4? my third and od went out in my Trans am today
soo i'mthinking about trying to rebuild it myself! Or t56 swap

Finishline is certainly a good place. I used ProBuilt Automatics like 9 years ago and it is still going. ProBuilt sells parts or complete units and is helpful with technical questions.
Really though with these trannies the parts are less critical then the attention paid in assembly. A good builder can get great life with a lot of stock parts and most builders can't get but a year or so with lots of fancy parts and "upgrades".
