is it worth it to get a cam?
I have a 93 z28, the only way I can ever get a tune is a mail order tune. There are no dyno shops around me. Then the fact that it uses a chip makes it impossible to dyno tune too. I love my low end torque and don't want to give it up, but a boost in the midrange and highend power would be welcomed, what cam would give me this? how much of a boost could I expect considering my tune with always be so so?

I'm not very sure if this will work with the 93 LT1 PCM's, but a lot of guys have used these with the TurboDodge cars, and absolutely love the setup:

If you have the computer socketed, you can use this to do real time tuning. I'm just not sure of the software you would use.

Lloyd Elliot or Advanced Induction are highly regarded and can spec you a cam
also Fastchip is who I have used for mail order tunes with great results. I know Ed Wright sold his dyno/shop but may still do mail order

I'm relatively new to my area, if anyone knows of a dyno tuner in the black hills area, it'd be great news. It seems like there should be with all the classic car buffs, the bike rally, and other things attracting gear heads to the area
