Default MSD Super Conductors

Has anybody used these and is familiar with them? I was going to do this when the spark plugs were done, but wires weren't in and I needed a vehicle.. It was a hard enough job doing the plugs and the wires looks like a pain too. The guy before me has the wires running up, through the headers(><) then in front of the waterpump and down to the opti.. Any suggestions? I want to run them below straight to the opti so I don't have much high heat worries(multiple of the old wires are burned).. Should I just cut to fit and zip tie them somewhere on the bottom end? Whoever can chime in, thanks

I had them on mine and when i changed them went with the jegs house brand 8mm wires, the msd's arent worth the money. i left them under and shortened the back plug wires on each side

Yeah my headers are funky and you cant really do a clean over valve cover setup. I already have the 8.5 msds lol so I might as well not waste money. Did you secure the wires anywhere, if so where?

passenger side is really the toughest. but there is a nice hole right next to the power steering pump that i routed that whole side through. it turned out great and they stay way clear of the headers. I do not like the OTVC look. I used to but after seeing it more and more.. i just think it bothers up the engine bay.

Just gotta take your time and there are plenty of ways to go by zip ties and keeping plenty distance from heat

I used to have over the valve cover custom length make your own msd super conductors.
I changed to the pre made MSD superconductor lt1 kit and routed them like camaro350z28 did underneath, and it works much better.

Well I got 6 of them changed. I have the 8.5 cut to fit as well... 3 different wires were damaged so severely, all you had to do was wiggle barely and it would tear apart.. I went with a under custom route, but couldn't get plugs 2 and 6 no matter what way I went, will have to drop headers. Does anybody else have a tough time putting the boot back on the opti with plug #8? I couldn't get it on all the way and was trying to for a couple hours, maybe its just my hand size.

And I didn't do those plugs and route, previous owner did... for unknown reasons lol.

they work just need to be careful where you route them, with headers its WAY easier than on a stock car
