Exclamation I need your help having a bad clunk help help help

I have a 1996 firebird lt1 I'm having a hard clunk when I get out of the gas when I'm getting on it I have put a new trans mount torque arm mount and new u joints the car also has headers and no cats I have no idea what it could be the clunk feels like its under the center console can any one help me out pleaseeee

Are the headers hitting the floor pan?

I don't thing so after I put the on I had a real bad vibration I replaced the motor mounts and it went away

Clunk under the console as almost always the trans mount (you sure it's not the y pipe banging around?).....did you replace it with another rubber OEM POS? Are you getting excessive shifter movement upon hard acceleration? If so, it's probably broken again...I put in a factory one just to break it less than a week later, don't bother with the rubber ones, they are weak get nice aftermarket poly trans mount and you won't have to keep buying them.

+2 with the factory rubber trans mount.. Also have you checked your universals on the driveshaft.

Thanks I guys it was my bran new poly trans mount the center bolt was broken off

That's usually right where they fail. I will be doing mine real soon. Well after I get rid if this damn missfire

Look in to NGk v power plugs it took care of my missfire
