Default 94 camaro z28 pcm connector one wire i dont know what is for
here a picture i took can someone tell me what the single wire left of the hood strut bracket is for? its the tan one with its own small connector picture is on its side

That's the wire you jump voltage to to test your fuel pump. It just dangles there.

so would that cause a short for the pcm if it got wet? is it a constant voltage or cycled volts

I don't believe it has any voltage until you run your own 12 v test wire to it. It's sole purpose is for fuel pump testing.
