LT11996

So I just bought some tall Canton valve covers that came in the mail today and I just sat them in my engine bay to make sure there were no problems but the passenger side won't even go all the way down on the head because the tranmission dipstick tube is in the way.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to move the tube an inch or so out of the way? It's just one thing after another with getting this damn thing running.

I had this problem as well. I was able to bend the dipstick tube just enough to clear but its tight and its a pain getting the valve cover on and off.

I tried searching to see if anyone else had these problems but didn't read anything. But I ended up getting mad at it and forcing it towards the intake manifold so now it fits lol just glad it didn't kink or anything

Same problem here too. I just bent the dipstick slightly to get it to clear.

Having said that with all the other problems I had with the Canton's I decided to get rid of them and go with fatrodder covers.
