While im chasing down my other problems, the damn bracket broke (like cake) as I was unscrewing a bolt to replace the alternator. The very top bolt part of the bracket broke. An aluminum piece just cracked like its plastic. Part number is 10239875. Looked at sites on GM parts and neither of them are under $93 & most claim out of stock. Anyone know of a good deal on site, order from dealership or anyone selling old parts?

i'd look for someone parting out an lt1 f-body, you could probably get a used one pretty cheap

same thing happened to me, i havent had much luck locating a replacement yet either. im going to check ebay for someone parting out a car.

Might have one in my garage, ill check when I get home, may have thrown it out tho...
