95 formula LT1
Been looking for a while to find a nice older model sports car. Just found a 1995 formula LT1 with 84000 original miles. All looks bone stock. Was wondering how much life these cars get and what kind of work I can expect to get into. Id also like to increase power a little bit. Dont need anything crazy just a nice jump that done cost to much. Cold air intake or some exhaust Id like to have 300 320 horsepower nothing crazy just like to get up and go when I want to. Car was listed for 3900 is that a good deal thought 3200 cash maybe dump grand into a nice tune up. Would greatly appreciate some thoughts on this thanks guys

The miles are super low for a 95. Being stock can be good or bad - you know it probably wasn't abused as much, and don't have to worry about people putting garbage mods on cars. If you plan on already adding some mods though, you can basically get mods for free if you buy the car with them since they barely effect the value.
If he would take 3200 cash I would take it for a good running 84k mile stock Formula, but keep in mind you can get one that already exceeds your goals for the same price and a bit more miles, and not have to spend over a grand on mods yourself.

miles are relativley low for the year. Cold air and exhaust should definetley get your there in terms of flywheel horsepower. Also a good set of shocks and springs really liven these cars up. I left my car as just that for 2 years before the horsepower bug bit me and i had to do more.
