traded a snowmobile for it... lol. just a big trans am fan.
new clutch, newer engine, supposedly le1 heads, small cam. msd opti, catback. old and hard street tires. but the engine was like 3 owners ago. who knows what is in there. that being said it runs around 106 mph in 1320' on stock manifolds. (I know, manifolds? wtf?)

Welcome to the Tech part of the site .
Nice looking car. At least get some mids on it though, wtf is wrong with people . Don't be surprised if its just a hotcam kit(comes with 1.6rrs) or something. I have a hard time imagining someone pulling heads and putting stock manifolds back on, but at ~500 bucks the hotcam kit was a decent package deal for someone who only wanted a bit more power in their street car on a budget.

honestly the engine could be anything. you can just hear a slight lope at idle. and it runs like a poorly tuned H\C car instead if a poorly tuned stock car. headers will wake it up a lot.

It's nice to have a simple driver that you don't care too much about performance. I might throw a small cam in mine, but nothing crazy and I don't care how much power it makes lol.

Nice looking car does headers make that much difference on these cars? I got a 94 Z28 that somebody installed a 3 inch Flowmaster and gutted the cat, but left the manifolds on. My plan is to install a set of Pacesetter longtubes, and a ory pipe. I am in the process now of getting a tune from PCM forless, I am told that a tune will get me more horsepower and I installed a high stall converter as well.

Longtubes are good for like ~20rwhp.

Yeah that's what I thought but I didn't know you would get 20 h/p gain from headers wow!!! How about a tune do you get much from that h/p gain? I am getting my tune done by PCM Forless..

Tunerpro RT, OBDI ALDL cable, Winflash, and the proper definitions for reading the .bin and datalogging.
Gregrob had a pretty good tutorial to get started. I already had the laptop and software from messing with my 93, so just needed the cable and to download the definition files.

Remember that the newer Tunerpro software needs two definitions downloaded - one for viewing and editing bins, and one for real time datalogging. You can get them for free from the Tunerpro website.

That looks like the correct cable. I got mine directly from ALDLcable .com.
