A crankshaft position sensor on a 1993 OBD I LT1?

I could be wrong, but I do not believe that LT1's had a crankshaft position sensor until 1996 when they went OBD II.

[FYI - I had a 1995 OBD I LT1 front cover (when I picked up a LT1 engine core) and this cover was missing the hole for the crankshaft position sensor - unlike the 96 / 97 front cover that had the hole for the crankshaft position sensor.]

Is this the original engine in this car and can you take a picture where the sensor goes.

That looks like the crank sensor on my 97 ws6. I can pull it out when i get home to double check.

Try looking for ACDelco #213-4309. Apparently there is something different about the Corvette LT1 as the f-body does not have this pre 96.

The 92/93 LT1's do not have a crank position sensor when running a factory ECM. The 92/93 corvette and 93 f-body share the same ECM and there isn't a CPS. Now if you're looking for this sensor in regards to the boat install, you'd have to check with mastercraft as they use a completely different ECM. They also used the Northstar coil packs as opposed to the Opti. I would look to a marina, or mastercraft dealer to make sure they get you the right sensor.
