Default 94 LT1 need help

i Have a 94 LT1 and for some reason it will not start without me havinb to pumps the gas pedal. i was wondering have anyone else had this issues. If one of the sensors should it come up on the diagnostic scanner because i took it to a local shop and it didnt show and codes but its (the car) is getting harder and harder to start (having to pump the gas more and turn the motor over and over and over 2-3 times bfore she wants to crank) and once she is craked up she is idleing very high from all the gas the i injected form pumping the gas pedal..

Any input would be appreciated..

Hopefully i don't sound to confusing...

Fuel pump.

Check your DTC codes.

Check your fuel press (38-42psi).

check the DTC codes. I had an issue with the purple and white wire in my opti spark harness. My car was doing almost the exact same thing.

so does pumping the pedal when cranking actually cause the injectors to dump fuel? I didn't know it worked like that. Interesting
