Default What is this. i broke it. Belong above my oil filer

So I was doing a tune-up and broke this. been trying to find out what it is to replace. can anyone identify this for me. Thank you.

Oil pressure sensor. I think they run about 25 bucks at the part store.

Can you post a picture of the wire connector and the model of your car?
It could possibly be an oil temp sensor depending on the car.

I think it is. its duiffrent then the manual and other posts ive seen with diagrams.

does the connector look like the same connect the throttle position sensor has?

Marine im going to guess you have a 93 Fbody right? That is because on the 93 the oil pressure sensor was located down there by the filter supposedly some early 94s were but I cant say for sure. But in 94 they moved it to the top of the engine.


Just pull that silver insulation back and the sensor and plug will be accessible.

yah its the oil psi sensor. its just it was encased by a rubber boot to keep the header heat from getting to it. Thanks guys I figured it out.

Some 94's came with the sender there, mine didn't.
