Default 24x Problems

I just got 97 lt1 back together. After a little pushrod problem its readjusted and ready to go. I had a base tune done by Shortuning. I put the pcm in and tried to crank it and nothing. It tries but it just doesn't get it. A few cylinders sound like they firing but its jus not enough. Im using the Jet tuner to read the DTC's. I have a quite the list. I tried clearing them and retrying to start the car but it didn't work. Here's the list:
MAF system Performance/p0101/MIL on 2nd error
MAF sensor circuit low frequency/p0102/MIL on 2nd error
MAF sensor circuit high frequency/p0103 MIL on 2nd error
MAP performance/p0106/MIL on 2nd error
MAP sensor low volt/p0107/MIL on 2nd error
MAP sensor high volt/p0108/MIL on 2nd error
IAT sensor circuit low/p0112/MIL on 2nd error

From what I'm reading it doesn't sound to good. I did the 24x with diy harness. I followed the pin out from EFI connection to the "T". I checked and rechecked my harness. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Don't know how you could get both high & low MAF frequency codes on an engine that won't start. Too many there make no sense at all. My guess is you need to buy a pro built harness.
Hope you get it figured out.

Agreed with Ed. You really need to contact Bill @ BPAutomotive. That's also who James uses for his harnesses.

Sounds like you messed up the harness.

Either trace every pin at the PCM sockets to correct sensor, or rip it all apart and manually trace sensor harness plugs to PCM pins

Something is majorly wrong somewhere if you get all of those codes. Have you tried flashing or reading the PCM?

Yea I read the pcm. Thats where I got all the codes. I dont want to reflash the pcm and erase the tune you did for me. Ill take a look at the bp automotive harness. I figured I would give the diy harness a shot. But with all these codes, something is definitely not right with the harness lol. Thanks for the help guys. I was leanimg toward the harness but its always good to have other opinions.

Did the tune read out of it okay? I have your tune on file if it gets corrupted or something and hasn't fried the PCM I can/will reflash the file back into it for free if need be.

I didn't have any problems reading the pcm. I wasn't given any error messages. Im going through my oem tune and comparing it with what I got from the pcm last night. That way I can see if the pcm was doing the same thing before I sent it off to you. Thanks for the screen shot. I'll compare it to my last read too and see if something happened in the pcm.

I looked at my old reads. Seems that all of these codes plus ALOT more where tripped from the beginning. I'm guessing I screwed up on my harness. I'm going to try and retrace my harness. Ill more then likely break down and buy a new one though.

Hate to hear that, def look into HPT as it is a way better piece than Jet is.

If you need anything feel free to give me a hollar.

I would start on a fresh harness. There is a couple of us that have made threads going through 24x harness building. Its not very hard, you just need to understand what's going on. Do NOT splice connections! Solder all your connections to make sure your harness is in A1 shape so you don't have to retrace your harness for a loose wire or cut wire.

Take your time and keep track of your work so you know what you have done to look back and trace a potential problem if it arrises.

Good luck.
