Hope they fit better then the shitty bumpers they make, after you wait what seems like a life time to get something that sucks big time make me never want to buy a body part from them like that again. And there not cheap either

We stopped working with the company that produced the bumpers. Hence them not being on the site anymore. Now everything is 100% made in the USA better than OEM fit and ships within 2 weeks.

Hood looks great.

Probably a bit expensive for most, but considering what some OEM hoods go used for its not too bad.

Vents man vents. All the new hi-po cars have vents. Its good and hot where i live and race. The stock 4th gen camaro just has some fakey ducts that are for looks only.

Can we get some hoods with real vents - not louvers? Louvers are to low to do any good. We need vents that stick up over 1" to get into the air stream and entrain some air.

BTW that hood of yours does look nice. But the camaros air needs to go the other way - up. The air below the radiator is the scoop and hot air does the rest - goes up.

This is an exact style hood SLP used to make that people begged us to make so we're offering it. Any changes to the original design (besides cleaning up the underside which we did) would make it not sell to the people who asked us for it. I agree with you though.

Man that hood looks gross...

Not bashing 6litereater since he is only making what people requested, but damn the it screws up the flow lines of the car big time.

It's a hood that people have wanted for some time now. Hopefully there's enough demand for 6LE to do a production run, I always thought it was a nice looking hood.

I agree Its a horrific looking hood. But to each their own that's why they make so many styles.

I think it would be neat to see something like the ZL1 camaro hood for a 4th gen. It is pretty aggressive looking.

ZL1 hood looks damn good, but it kinda looks like a glorified SS hood though. Its not too different. To us enthusiasts it is a completely diff hood, but to some shmo on the street its another SS. SLP made the ultra Z in order to give a functional hood that had a different look for Z28 cars. They stopped production years ago and only a few companies picked up where they left off. 98-02 cars can still get the hood but that leaves us LTx guys SOL. And to some people it looks "ugly" but the people who actually like the hood could give two sh*ts about those opinions. I think it looks good, its functional and different. This one will fit better than the originals and the bracing different. This is yet another option for the LTx Camaro guys. Regardless, big thanks to the guys at 6LE for offering to create this hood. It's just up to us now to shell out the dough to get it made.

I used to like the ASCD Stinger hood, but now I think it looks kind of tacky and prefer just a cowl.

Ultra-Z hood was the opposite - I used to not like it, but it has grown on me after a while . I still prefer my 3" cowl.
