Default PCM question
I need a pcm for a 94 OBD1 auto car. I found a 93 lt1 OBD1 manual PCM. Can we have it tuned to run an automatic?

94 and 93 PCMs are day night different. Aint gonna work.

A '93 ECM will not work with a '94. It is a completely different computer with a removable PROM unlike the '94 PCM. You have to have a a 94-95 PCM.

ok, thanks to you both! but if I find a 94-95 pcm with a manual can I get it tuned to become and auto?

Yes, it can be flashed for whatever you need.

Remember only from a 94-95 and it doesn't have to be just from an F-body, The Chevy Caprice and Buick Road master will work also but will have to be tuned for an F-Body. and of course a vette also..

Adding to the above the 92-93 LT1s are also batch injection.
