Default Flex plate question with pics

Ok I have two flex plates. One is from my 97 Lt1 and the other is from a 95 LT1
I expected them to look Identical but as you will see in the pictures one has more holes drilled in the plate then the other. For the life of me I can not remember which one is which.
Is there a difference in these two flex plates??? Or are the holes there to balance the flex plate neutral before they add the counter weight???
Some help with this would be great.

If I were a "betting man", I'd say the holes are for balancing purposes. FWIW, just for "the hell of it", I put a TCI on my LT1 a couple of years ago, and it was listed in their catalog as an LT1 replacement, without any distinction for specific years...

That's what I'm thinking as well because as far as I know there isn't any different weight for different years.
