Default Fans come on a few seconds after start up.

They come on a few seconds after start up, hot or cold doesn't matter. It doesn't run rough or anything when they kick on, and I know the IAC, O2's, and maf work fine. I had an issue with it going into closed loop early and I checked all those (eventually replacing the O2's).

My car is basically Frankensteined together, and has wiring and computer from a 95' formula. This computer is untuned. I also have off road Lt's and ORY. This required deleting the AIR pump, and I have heard that will cause a fan early on/always on issue if it isn't tuned out. Is this true?

If you have a trouble code for the things that are not tuned out, the fans are going to come on with the trouble code (that is normal operation).

Thanks Shbox! I gotta say, if it weren't for your site and help on tech, I never would have gotten this thing wired up correctly. I'm not worthy!

I had the same problem. Didn't realize it at the time, but the previous owner had pulled my SES bulb out which caused it to throw a code. After I put the bulb back in and had no codes the fans never came back on.
