Default Pacesetter ORY problems.

I just installed Pacesetter long tube headers. I went to put the y pipe on and after I got past the frame issue, I noticed when in place the y pipe pushes up on the brake line and the fuel lines are about a half inch away from the y pipe. I can't imagine this is very safe and would prefer not to find out the hard way. Anybody had this issue? Any fixes?

Mine has been like that for years on my old car I sold it to my bro he has no issue. For a peace of mind I put a exhaust wrap over that area and tie wrap it. Hope this helps

I don't believe my fuel lines are that close, but I did the same thing, wrapped the lines in heat tape, and then wrapped a spark plug wire protector on top of that.

Mine have never seemed really close. Never had any issues on any of my LTX cars actually.

Car a wreck rebuild?

Likely caused by worn out motor and/or trans mount

This sounds like the safest thing to do.

No. Just having the usual luck I guess.

It's possible. They're the originals.
