Default What type injector for LT1? High or low impedance

Hey guys,
Just buying new #42 injectors for my 383 and I'm not sure if I need to buy high or low impedance? Did a search and didnt see anything. Also, what type of connection is required or is it standard? Thanks

OP

check with your tuner on what specific brand to get. Some prefer some brands over others. more because they are familiar with their specific characteristics (pulse width, etc), especially if getting a mail order tune

Yes, if this is for that "11.3 or 11.7 CR 383" you were asking about, something like SVO 30's would be more appropriate.

So a 36 or 30? Hoping to make 430rwhp (more if I'm lucky). Lloyd Elliot said the 42's would be good so I'm just working off what he said

SVO 30's are feeding 500 rwhp setups just fine.
36's would be ok too. I think 42's are a bit much: there's no upside to them for what you're planning.

Gotcha...probably go 36 then just to leave myself some room....want to run a wet n2o set up so I assume I need a larger injector??? (I may be misinformed or lack some specific knowledge there)

If running a wet system that has no effect injector sizing.

A wet system doesn't flow any additional fuel through the injectors when the nitrous is on. Fuel is supplied separately through the fuel jet/nozzle.
So, 30's will still do. If you still want to go with 36's, no argument here, they'll be fine too.
What you do need for nitrous, wet or dry, is for the rest of the fuel system to be up to the task. I'd run a GENUINE Walbro 255 lph in-tank replacement and upgraded wiring to provide full alternator voltage to the pump. That would take care of 450 rwhp plus a 100 shot, maybe a 150.
