I was being extremely sarcastic about the attitude on here that if you post on this site in the LT1-LT4 section it is a Camaro Z28, Firebird, Trans AM, Caprice, or the other non-corvette LT1 powered car (I forgot the name) but never a Corvette.
Yes in this case it the model was told but just because s/he said the model does not mean that part is from that model.

Basically what he was saying is, Camaros don't have them.

I stand by what i said before just because someone removed it from x car does not mean was from that car. I mean its not like there have not been 1,000s of part swaps, and not just engines to and from various cars.
I guess you would tell people that the 88-92 C4 has an 4th gen firebird/trans am headlight module based on the look of the part?
EDIT
With the attitude C4 (and probably older) Corvette owners get on this site I can see why they would avoid it like the plague for many things now that I have used this site.

You asked for an explanation you got one.

I'm fairly certain that C5 corvettes use the same headlight motors as a 93-97 Firebird and the same 4L60e torque converter as a 93-97 Fbody as well. With your mindset, should the C5 folks say they've got Fbody torque converters and headlight motors? Or at the very least if they ask questions about their C5 torque converters or headlight motors, they damn well better mention that they were in another vehicle before the C5 Corvette. I'm sure all of the guys on the vette forums practice this every day
It's GM vehicle dude. Tons of vehicles share parts...my daily driver Buick has the same steering wheel controls as my buddy's Silverado...should I tell people I have a Silverado steering wheel controls and a GMC Sierra head unit? Stupid, and a waste of time.
Also, you'd think someone with such a complex would at least know how to punctuate an sentence. Try harder.

@sweetbmxrider
What does that have to do with anything? I also don't have a manual. I know about the part in the detail I do because I had to replace mine.
@MasterTomos
You claim that I am wrong, but If I am so wrong why be so defensive?
@TechCam97
Your reply was not?
