Default Help...

Hey guys, Im new to the whole lt stuff, I prefer to stay on the ls side of things lol. However, my dad has a project going on where he is using an lt1. According to the person tuning it for him, he needs to go with an lt4 knock module. We have looked everywhere and can not seem to find one of these anywhere. I was really hoping one of you would have one or know where we could get one. Let me know guys, thanks.

You can desensitize it through the tune if you are sure any counts are false knock. If you do it slowly you can keep it functioning properly to protect from actual knock.

Any tuner should be able to do it no problem.

It would appear this site has it in stock. It would appear the supply is drying up quickly.

I've been looking too. These things are gonna shoot up in price soon. I desensitized mine.

All I did was Google the part number and went result by result until I didn't see "Out of Stock" or "Discontinued". I got to page 3. I would pick up from there.

i have a lt1, 383 with lt4 heads lt4 intake and lt4 hot cam 1.6 rollers. I have the lt1 sensors on it and it runs great. Had it tuned by PCM for less.

Did you data log it? It might feel great (as it should it's a modded LT4 383), but that doesn't mean you don't have knock retard. My 355 LT1 pulls hard, but I'm still fighting random knock retard (it doesn't do it WOT, but does randomly pull up to 4° while cruising).
