Default random problem at 5k rpms?!?

So today i was in the highway and floored my car at 50 it dropped to second amd was like vrooom (sounds like a pop and its like it was gonna cut off) then a little more vroom and some more pop with it bogging. The bogs are about 1/10th of a second long.

Could this be a spark plug problem? There was oil on the end of a few plugs. Could it be fouled out spark plugs? I need to know fast cause i got a beach trip planned saturday

Ok not sure what vroom means, but if ur plugs are oiled fouled that is certainly one of your problems

I do believe i figured it out. I think it's hitting the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift. Trans only has 2k miles with a 3500 stall. Cpu is from a road master in a camaro. Think I will find someone to bump the rev limiter up and increase line pressure. OR lower my shift points.
