Swapping fuel pump. What sealant to seal bucket?
#2
Ten years ago, I used "Seal-All" - it resists breaking down in gasoline. There might be a newer / better product since that time, but if not, then "Seal-All" is an option.

I recall the instructions said to use super glue. And the next time i pulled the pump the cup top wasnt sealed on the top hardly at all. But ya know it really dosnt need to seal - just hold the top on the cup as fuel is allowed to flow out the top. The bottom of the cup is where it needs the seal to keep the pump "wet".
Another option is to use a soldering iron to melt and "tack" the top on in a few/several places.
hope this helps
