Default Help! I can't get my fuel lines disconnected!

I have an O'reilly Auto Performance Tool disconnect set that I am using and am having issues. There are 4 lines (the 2 stock lines and 2 for the Vortech Fuel management unit). I was able to easily remove the lines going to Vortech unit (1 being a stock line) but can't get the ones off of the fuel rail. Is there a better tool?

What are you working on? There is nothing "vortec" on an LT1.

Vortech Supercharger, it has a fuel management system. I'm pulling intake and heads.

I'm using the little plastic clips and it doesn't seem like it will engage the clips. Just wondering if one with a handle would give me some leverage.

There shouldn't be that much force needed to undue those lines. Put the tool on the line, press the hose towards the fitting and push the tool into the hose, should release and you can pull the line off. I've never had any trouble with the same type of tool your using.

Get one of the metal ones that scissors open. I use one and never have an issue with it. Looks like this.

Thanks to all that chimed in. I guess this is an example of "you get what you paid for"... Went down and bought the same type but Lisle brand and had them off in 10 seconds max. Hopefully this might help someone in the future. Thanks again!
