When you run a solid roller you have to account for the lash so like say a 260 duration would equal like say a 239 - 249 hydraulic, just an example, don't take these numbers to exact, but you get what I mean, same goes for the lift.

Ahh, tracking. Still not a small cam, but not huge either; but on the bigger side of things. Got it, thanks!

Agreed. My buddy is running a 246/250 dur solid roller in his 385 ci Impala. Using every bit of the PCM's 7100 rpm limit. And he's making power ..... 10.4's @ 127 NA in a 3800 lb car.

If all the parts come together then yes if it makes power past the 7200 mark then it is too much for the stock pcm. But you never know, I have had combos such as yours and for what ever reason,(Probably bad head porting) power fell off at like 6600 when in reality it should of peaked somewhat like yours. Had an Lt the other day, Cam in the 26x range, sheet metal intake, which looked like a modified Hogan intake for two dominators, and it peaked at like 6200, the owner was disappointed and it barely made 430 RWHP on a Mustang Dyno..
