Everyones got a LiL different twist on their setups... You need a cheap angle finder/gauge to get things set good & most likely youll be able to clearance the bracket... I think most guys get the adjustable tubular torque arm to set the pinion way better!!! I havent seen a ton of that style but then again I havent been on here in 4ever...

i have the same mount and my y-pipe is very close to it, but so far hasnt hit it. i would say trim the mount in that spot. you should be able to take about a half inch off and keep the hole. what y-pipe do you have? you could also try loosening all the clamps on the exhaust and see if it will move enough to clear it

i have the old school Mufflex 3" Y i played with it for awhile noway the Y is bolting up with that mount, going to set my pinion angle and make sure thats where i want the TA and take it back off and clearance it....yes my mount is alittle different I have a 97 LT1 with the 4l60e but it's in a 2002 v6 so i had to have BMR modify the mount for me. that was before i even dough the Y and Bullet out of the shed lol

Thats almost the exhaust Im gonna run... Mine will be 3.5 Y-pipe into the 4in Mufflex with a bullet where the cat went & the Spintech dual 3in out... Should tone it down a bit but still Breath!!! IF its too restrictive on My 396 nitrous motor I will do duals with 3in then bullets & a dual 3in in & out if itll all fit right LoL The single exhaust helps TQ & thats why Im startin there!!!
