Default No start issue please advise

alright guys, i got a 95 trans am. im having an issue with it not starting. originally i had to replace the opti and waterpump. after those got installed, i was able to drive it back to my house (car was sitting in a parking lot) 2 plug wires ended up being switched, after fixing that the car started up, and began to idle at 2k (probably because i unhooked the battery while tinkering with electric crap) and needed to go through an idle relearn. then it just died while it was running. since then i have been able to get it to sputter a few times but not run. i got no spark coming out of the coil, i thought it could be a security issue but its still cranking fuel

i really need to get this issue resolved... any help would be appreciated

Unhooking the battery would not cause it to idle at 2000 rpm. If the engine cranks over then its not a security issue. What brand opti did you use?
