MLS head gasket questions As far as I see Cometic is the only company that makes a LT1 specific MLS head gasket. However there are other companys that make MLS gaskets much cheaper. Will a SBC head gasket work? If not what is the diffrance?

What do you mean? Felpro, Victor Reinz, and Mr. Gasket makes LT1 head gaskets too. And yes, there are certain coolant passages that differ from a GEN I SBC.

12.5:1 on a fogger setup. Not sure how long a standard gasket would last and Never had a lot of luck out of copper without o-ringing the block/head.
