Ordered mine before winter and installed them, and installation went well.
My only beef with them is the y-pipe merge is kind of meh, and the clamps I got were trash. 1 of them broke while trying to tighten it down.
The clearance is great and the quality of the headers is PURRRFECT. I love them and my car screams now.
Currently they are slightly hitting my steering shaft and K member. Car is down for winter and I will have poly engine mounts in after the weather gets warmer. Will hopefully fix those issues... I'm on stock motor mounts with 115k on them, so I bet they are sagging a bit.

I don't know if the problem has been fixed or not but I did install a set on my 96 about 4 years ago and on the driver's side I didn't have enough clearance between the intermediate shaft and the header. Under load I would have had NO control over steering. The primary wasn't bent far enough in. Hopefully they've reworked their setup a little bit.

My headers are the new batch. My header hits the steering shaft but only slightly. waiting till spring to put in new motor mounts. Y pipe merge is also meh and clamps are meh. the headers are great quality though so totally worth it

We have moved the #1 primary over as far as possible to clear the steering shaft but it is still close. There was a fix for this that someone posted years ago when we had our version 1's out. You can loosen the bolts where the steering passes through the firewall and then go inside the car and shift the steering wheel over a little and it moves the shaft away from the primary. The steering wheel doesn't really move enough for you to even notice the difference but it does move the shaft away from the primary.

Yeah I can tell they are. I will see what my poly mounts do and go from there. Mine are also hitting the kmember slightly. Again, I can't really blame the headers till I put new motor mounts in.
