Default TSP LT1 Longtubes

Today I received my TSP stainless LT1 longtubes! Here are some pictures of the headers and other items for the install. It will take me a while to gather everything that I need (broke college student ), but I will update this thread as I gather the parts, and I will take pics of the install (whenever I get to that lol).

The headers:

They came with two of these clamps:

I purchased two more of these clamps (one for either side of the cutout that will be at the end of the y pipe ) from a local auto parts store:

I opted to go with Felpro header gaskets. part number: 1406 (also purchased from a local auto parts store):

Updates will come as supplies are gathered!

Great looking set of headers. What heads are you running? Looks like the 1406 gaskets match the headers but was wondering if they match your heads?

All LT1 heads have d-ports. That gasket is the best paper gasket you can get for an LT1 IMO.

It's kinda crazy how cheap those headers are. Aren't they cheaper than the mild steel Pacesetters?

TSP does not for these headers, but the headers are designed to work with Pacersetter's ory (part number: 82-1161).

I am not sure what pacesetter headers cost but these are listed at $219.99. It will be interesting to see how they fit compared to headers like pacesetter and others.

I just put on a set 2 weeks ago and I love em ! Theyre somewhat of a pain to get in there but they look awesome and sound great and ive got mine hooked up to the stock cat back. I will say it took a few hours but I took my time at it. if you can swing it get the arp hardware as suggested on here bc that made a big difference in ease of install and appearance. I used the same gaskets you got and they sealed up great no issues.

How is the clearance after they were installed and did you have to do any hammering on them to get them to fit.

To hook yours up to the stock catback, did you just cut the stock catback right after the "S" that goes to the cat and use a 3"-2.75" reducer? I also plan to use the stock catback for now, but i'm not sure yet how to connect it to the pacesetter ory lol

I cut my stock 2.5 pipe in line with the end of the ypipe and used a stepped clamp. I plan on running a new straight piece of 3" off the y and dumping at the axle just havent gotten to it yet....

Glad (relieved) to hear that it is that simple. Would you mind posting up a picture or two of it?
