how to fix it? the mechanic told it is the throttle body itself and it must replaced with a new one? any one faced the same problem?

Pop the throttle cables off the TB and try and move it by hand. If it is stiff it might be easiest to find another one. If it is OK I would suspect the cable.

Pull the intake boot off and look for oil and carbon build up. If the throttle blade was hard to operate all the time I feel it would hang open when throttle is released. A lot of times I find people have a hard time pressing the throttle initially and after they push it passed the stiff point it operates smoothly. Stuff can build up around the throttle blades when its in the closed position and cause a sticky pedal. Clean that off and it becomes smooth again. I find it hard to believe the throttle blade or housing would warp and need replacing. If throttle is clean and smooth when operating by hand its most likely the cable.

I would say you are correct, maybe it is the throttle cable needs cleaning. I saw once a mechanic cleaning the throttle cable in my previous 1989 Mitsubishi galant by an injectors cleaner spray by spraying the injectors cleaner into the hose housing the throttle cable.

This is done routinely for anyone that has owned an ATV or dirt bike so it is entirely possible but I would think the strength of your foot/ankle compared to your thumb/wrist the increased tension should not be THAT noticeable.

the accelerator pedal got softer with cleaning the TB and hard pressing the accelerator pedal back and forth while the engine is not operating.
