Anybody have any info on whats going to be done with it? Is the family going to keep it?

So sad, it was pretty much ready to set the record...

I would love to see the family keep it, but let one of his close racing buddies break the record with it first.

Got any specs? All I know it was twin turbo. When I joined the forum I heard a couple people make mention of him. Sounds like he was a LT1 guru.

Baddest LT1 in the world. First one in the 8's.

Current build was north of 1600hp and set up to run 7's, unfortunately passed away shortly after getting it running and the car never made it down the track.

Huge asset to the community, and helped me out a LOT on my build through PMs and forums.

If its setup with good suspension, parts and cert'd cage seems reasonable imo

For all the stuff that's on that car, that's not a bad price at all. Most have no idea what kind of money was spent on that thing.

Probably close to 20k just in the motor, not including the massive fuel system and computer.
