Abs asr/tcs

Abs asr/tcs
I have read in the shop manual and online that the ASR (accelerated slip regulation) can cut engine power as well as work the rear brakes if needed when the system senses slip.
My car does not have traction control, it is a 95Z, so I'm assuming the rear brakes won't be activated. But does the "cut engine power" aspect still remain?
During autocross I feel the car stumble when going WOT out of some turns. It happened more than one but in the same corners.
Only other thing I have been suggested is fuel pulling away from the pump under turns, but at the time the car had at least half a tank.
Worth mentioning;
I put a Trueurac in 2 weeks ago and swapped over the ABS ring.
I have no ABS light on...and yes it will light up on startup.
Before the trutrac, I could light up the right rear tire with no engine hesitation.
Thanks for any suggestions

However, my dad used to have a 6spd 1992 Corvette (LT1) that DID have traction control; if you left the traction control on, you can't even break the tires loose and it cuts power by retarding the timing if theres any slip detected.
It's very evident when the ASR is activated, you can feel the gas pedal move, and it cuts power drastically (probably loses 100HP+ for several seconds) and you feel the traction control/ABS "chattering" the brakes. Also the low traction light starts flashing like crazy.

Oh well, then TCS/ASR is not my issue. I can lay rubber all day long. Car runs like a top and doesn't skip a beat except for specific WOT runs around 2 specific turns.
Maybe it's getting into road imperfections and the car skipping over them? Well then again I would hear the RPM's raise slightly if that were the case...which it's the opposite. Exhaust note seems to go silent for a split second.
