Flash OBD2 PCM to OBD1 I believe my 93 Z's PCM is bad. I can't find a replacement for a reasonable price. I have a 96 PCM and harness out of my other car but would prefer an OBD1 pcm so I can tune it myself without having to re-buy the DST. Can the 96 PCM be flashed to OBD1?
I'm trying not to spend another $100 on a PCM right now since I've run out of money on this thing.

Thx, shoe. So I assume its a hardware limitation? I remember sending a PCM off to Madz for an OBD1 conversion but I didn't know the details, whether it was just recovered and flashed with a different bin or if it was a swap and he keep my obdii in exchange for the obdi. It was probably 10 years ago, 9 years too long for me to remember the details.
