like I said I've never weighed the car so it could be high 2,000s like 2900 or something idk just been told from previous owner but he wasn't very believable about things. When i get extra time and open garage space i will weigh the car but what do you think about it running low 7 on motor (not accurate time due to car failure last weekend) (battery) with 3:90 gear and FTI 3800 converter does that sound right or should i eventually be in 6s once suspension and air pressure is all found and set correctly?? I've seen videos of it running 6.08 on 150 shot progressed

I think you need more gear and more stall for NA, but it looks like it was specced for spray. I would definitely sort it out on motor before spraying though, that launch looked a bit hairy.

Yes this pass and the pass before were totally sketchy spinning launches. Third run hooked but again battery failure. But hopefully make it to track in couple weekends looks like rain for this weekend. & okay i figured it would need like 4:10 gears and like a 4k stall but I'm not exactly sure what the tunes are setup to run on spray. I heard 3:90 is a good torque gear for turbo and nitrous car. If i can get it to run high 6.90s and or 7.0 ill run the 7.0 footbrake index

To run 7.0s in the eighth and drop down to a 6.08 in the eighth on a 150 shot is quite insane of that's true. That's pretty much a whole second to the eighth. But by the looks and sounds of the converter in the video it sounds pretty tight for spray.

Cool car! Post up a few more pics if you have any .

cut out floor to make custom tunnel i will take pics of that next time its out of the trailer! As you can see this day wasn't very good but I would have never known it was cracked so kinda thankful i found it. Was able to get my girlfriends dad to Tig weld it back. He stuck up against another block v-ed it out and welded the outside then the inside.

The wheel kept rubbing when it got up on the spool when turning hard so we fixed that problem real quick.

kill switch mounted (this was taken several months ago, I need new pics of car now that its somewhat done)

moved fuel pump from inside car to under neath the car. My girlfriends dad made all the mounting stuff.

In the mist of working on my car I did all the paint work on my girlfriends car. one scallop is House of Kolor tangerine the other is a PPG vibrance yellow pearl I can't remember the code right now but they both pop in sun and the blue is PPG B579p (tons of pearl)

so while the camaro was at his shop all there stuff was at my dads body shop and i did all the body work and paint work on both the golf cart and the jr dragster. He put cage in and i fixed him up with some paint good trade off I thought.

Yeah, but he would. My comment had to do more with the fact that a lot of cars on this forum past and present weigh in the ~3200lb range which seems to be the norm. His gap just gets a little itchy whenever it's mentioned.

Yeah I mean it's not a full tube chassis car so it's still gonna be low 3k no matter how you slice it most the time plus I don't have drag brakes none of that stuff

You really should relax a little bit. It's quite okay you had to take weight out to compensate. All the cool kids are doing it!
