Magnaflow Muffler
Have the Magnaflow muffler on my 97 and it sounds great on acceleration but horrible on decel. When letting off the gas in gear at anything over 2k there is a horrible resonance inside the car, sounds like crap. Thought it might be the large 3.5" tips that come with the catback so I welded the stockers back on. Got a little better, but still resonates badly inside the car.
Searched and didnt find any comments on this, does anyone with the Magnaflow notice this? If so and you switched, what muffler did you go with to get rid of it?

I'm running MagnaFlow and no drone here.
My Suburban had Flow Masters and it had a wicked drone. Swapped that to MagnaFlow and that got rid of the drone.
Maybe look at the pipe from the y to the muffler.

Its not really drone. When on the gas or just cruising it sounds great. Its only when letting off the throttle over 2k, just a bunch resonance/noise in the hatch area and not in a good way.
Car has 40k miles and only mods are the Magnaflow and K&N, stock otherwise (including cat). Optispark has been replaced and car runs great, dont think its a miss or anything. Might be normal for this car, Im used to Mustangs with the dual exhaust. Might just be different than Im used to, really dont like it though.
