Badhawk - thanks man!

Bufmatmusle - E85 was what I planned to run, but decided on 112 for a few reasons. I may try that fuel out too at some point. The fuel system is built for it.

Sweetbmx - that sounds like a real good time! Track rental at Atco in the winter

Nice work. Congrats on single digits. It only gets faster from here. How do you like the 5800?

Thanks man! The 5800 is really nice. It is a little tight. From looking at the data logs it looks like it could be loosened up 600 rpm or so. Its stalling to 5000 at launch, and drops back 1400 to 1500 on the shift. When the tune is perfect and it's running it's best I will reevaluate where I'm at with it.

Nice progress Chris! The car is really flying! I think you'll easily see 9.5-9.6's with just a few small tweaks and the nice cool fall air. Looking forward to watching your continued progress.

I miss the 'ole days of my solid roller LTX's!

Chris, how about MOD NA class at the LTX shootout? The last LT1 running your times, if I recall was Mike V. with his 385 solid roller, blue camaro. He took the class win a couple of times, I believe.
Oops, the shootout was yesterday. Maybe next year then.

Yea I would have liked to have made it this year I heard it was a good time - good prep all day. Next year is the plan.. My traction was inconsistent it would hook one pass and break the tires loose on the next. So I didnt want to make the trip and not be competitive.

I think it is fixed with the new wheels now, 15x10 out back from a 15x8 - same 275/60-15 Hoosier radial. A buddy was there putting me in the water box and getting me staged in the groove too which helped a lot. She hooked on every pass last night.

You are obviously looking to get the car as fast as possible and willing to keep making changes necessary to get there . . . . . GREAT JOB!!!

It's easier to list what isnt done... lol. It's got Most of the interior plastics in it, lightweight carpet, stock Kmember, stock upper/lower front control arms, all the glass is still in it, stock hatch and ttops, stock gas tank. Added weight in a few places - 10 point moly cage, subframe connectors, battery cables running to the rear, and s60 with a locker.

Thanks Lloyd! Awesome work on the heads and intake... this motor is really making good power. Ive still got some tricks to play with to get some more power out of it.

Yep that would be cool My best guess on the car weight is 3100 - 3200 without me in it. Kyle is pretty close to my build and he scaled 3075 with a few lighter parts this past weekend at the shootout.

How about we try for an east coast LTx low DA fall shoot out again? MIR or Cecil or Atco, hasn't happened the past 2 years. We've got a few high 9 low 10 second NA 4l60e cars on here, would love to see a bracket in 0 DA.
