Default Will a 94 LT1 work in a 93 w/o modifications?

Hey everyone,

Friend has a 93 Z28 that needs a new motor. I know there are a lot of differences in the later years, but will the 94 engine bolt right in with no computer or wiring modifications?

Thanks

Yes, it should be fine. Use the existing 93 intake and you might have to relocate the oil pressure sensor from the top of the block to right above the oil filter (it was moved to the top some time in 94)

Pretty sure the fuel rails/lines are different on a '93 intake compared. Do a search and you should come up with more pertinent info.

Yup, 93 are a dead head system and 94 up are a return system, batch fire vs sequential fire...

And keep the 22# injectors from the 93 intake or the injector constant will be off with 24# from 94 & up. Not a big difference, but it would run a hair richer. Easy to change constants in a 94+ EPROM setup, not so much a 93 with a chip.

93 fuel lines won't line up on a 94+ intake either.
