maf circuit okay so I have this 95 lt Camaro the maf never worked.. I replaced it and nothing. I replaced the the plug still nothing and idk what to do the code says maf circuit problem? anyone know anything?

code 48 and no I never messed with wiring except I cut the ground wire off the maf and tried to connect it to the battery and nothing is there a way to rewire the maf to the computer?
