How long have you had the car? LOTS of guys freak out about the stock fan temps.

Have you tried unplugging the waterpump temp sensor to see if it triggers a CEL and both fans.

I haven't been able to find exactly when the fans should kick on, but I can try unplugging those and the water pump sensors.

The stock fan temps are 224/242 from memory.

Unplugging the temp sensor causes the pcm to run both fans because it doesn't know the temp. It will be hard to start if you do it before starting.

For clarifications sake, the CEL is?

I confirmed the fans do now kick on without manual intervention, but I'll most likely get the PCM remapped to engage them at a lower temperature after I get the head/cam/gear swap done in a year or two.

Thanks!
