Hey guys. These were my dyno results a couple years ago. Notice peak hp rpm and peak tq rpm are the same??

94 Z28 M6
K&N cold air was the only mod at the time. Everything else was stock

That's not right.....no way in hell it's making that sort of HP and TQ with just a CAI and at 4464 RPM no less Maybe the dyno operator was that day?

Haha. I was thinking the same thing. However... This car beats ls1 camaros on the regular. My buddy has a sn95 mustang gt with full bolt ons. Heads, cam, trickflow intake manifold the works and i hang with him about 2 or 3 cars behind. Could this be a 355?

Edit: oh and the guys that did the dyno told me not to expect more than 240-260 at the wheels from their experience.

Sounds like you had it dyno'd for fun and don't know what's been done to the engine?

they may have had the janitor running the dyno while everyone else was out to lunch...

The numbers they gave you were left over from the 383 L98 TPI they ran before your car. Lol

I'd toss those numbers out the window. Get another dyno pull.

Lmfao! So i should explain. I purchased this beast from a guy who baught it from his aunt i believe. It had around 140k - 150k on it. Car was bone stock as far as i knew. Stock intake and all. I took it up to a shop in mt airy maryland and had those guys dyno it. They did the dyno on the spot. They did 3 pulls. They asked me how high i wanted them to rev it and i said no more than 5000 rpms because i didnt really know the condition of the motor and didnt want to walk home. I know i know... So the first pull was light to see how the car behaved on the roller. The 2nd and 3rd were full pulls up to about 5k. After getting about 299hp at the wheels on pull two then 309 on pull 3 they offered to run it again but wanted to run to over 6k. I declined. So no i dont know if anything has been done to the engine but if something had been done then why have stock bolt ons?

Take it to MIR test n tune one of the next couple weekends, shift at 6100rpm, if it traps 101 or less it's stock and your dyno operator is a cotton headed ninny muggins.

I know i have a sound clip here somewhere. Ill try to find it. As for mir, i have cc503. 1.6rr, timing gears/chain, mag pushrods and beehive springs and stuff that I'm installing in the next couple of weeks.
I just got home from work so ill post a sound clip in a bit.

Yeah im also thinking that as well. Not so much for the hp/tq numbers but because i have never seen a engine that has peak hp and tq at the same rpm.
