lt1 swap, ac question Swapping a 94 lt1 c4 into an 80 c3, is the dryer needed? The dryer is in the a/c hose lines. Searched around the net and didn't see any bulbs that have the dryer as part of their install. Any thoughts?

You should install a new dryer and possibly change the orifice tube. The old system was r12 and the new is 134a.

Thanks the California stingray doesn't mention anything about the dryer; I'm not sure if his donor lt1 didn't have it or not. Or since the dryer is not in the writeup maybe he has it and doesn't mention or the 80 doesn't need the dryer.
