Default Hey guys!

I'm new to the website and wanting to know what all I could do to my 95 lt1 trans am to make it faster and more intimidating. It already has a professional throttle body and headers and exhaust and has been turned for spray but haven't hooked it up yet. Thinking about running a single turbo or twins or just sticking with spray.

The search feature is your friend. Use it. Learn from it. There is a vast wealth of knowledge buried in these forums.. Pro tip - make sure you use the 'advanced search' function, and change the 'sort results by:' from last posting date to relevancy.

a stock bottom end LT1 has little tolerance for much spray....or turbo for that matter. pistons and rods are hyper. For a power adder motor best to build a good forged bottom end. Cam/headwork choice is critical to the build.

There are no long term shortcuts. yeah you can just spray a stock motor....but not long term. The rear pistons take the biggest beating with the LT1 intake manifold

Throttle body does nothing at your power level. A 100 or 150 shot will do the trick but needs to be set up correctly. Window switch, WOT switch, colder plugs and a MSD 6al or the like to pull 2 degrees of timing per 50 shot, or you will break those stock pistons.

Ditch all of that and get heads and cam and make 400 to the tire and you'll beat most anything you come across on the street. Or learn to drive and run mid 12s as is. Is it stick or auto? What is your budget? Find someone's build you like and copy it.
