MSD 6Al-2 Guys Come In So I picked up my new 6AL-2 box from Speedway and I'm curious how most of you guys went about wiring your 2-Step and wondering how the max over rev limit works with the rev limit in the ECU.
First lets talk about the 2-Step. To activate the lower rpm rev limit (2-step) you apply power to the blue wire. When power is taken away, the lower rev limit is turned off. (on/off). I want to set it up off of the neutral safety switch on my clutch. How do you go about activating the 2-Step only when staging the car?
Next question, I am just curious how I should set up my max over rev limit. When I had the car tuned he set the rev limit to 6500. So if I were to set the rev limit on the box to 6400 that would be the new limit correct?
