Default Pin-on hoods

Guys with pin-on post up on how you mounted them, thinking about getting a vfn extended and some dzus fasteners. Want to see how everyone is installing them.

That's great, but i'm looking for it with the hood off, are you using racecraft rails?

No, I'm using the individual Dzus brackets fasteners. I wanted the fastener in particular locations. Plus at the time the motor was out of the car so it made it easier to install. I had the time to locate the brackets and weld them in place to insure that they will not ever come loose. Another nice feature when the motor is pulled is when it's time to drill the hole through the hood I was able to mark the hole location from the bottom side of the hood. I also have to locator pins on the front that was installed to insure that the hood was easy to install. It helped locate the hood to the fasteners.
